Shohei Ohtani is a true, once-in-a-lifetime talent. His world-class skill on the mound, at the plate, and on the bases is a combination that's practically unheard of, and it demands a shoe built specifically for the unique needs of the two-way player. The Ohtani 1 is that shoe, and it's set to rewrite the definition of on-field performance. A molded CPU upper is designed for superior durability through the high wear of pitching's repeated toe dragging motions. The sole unit, informed in part by insight from Shohei himself, features a 10-spike configuration designed to be closer to the ground, for a consistent feel anywhere on the field, regardless of position.
- FuelCell foam delivers a propulsive feel to help drive you forward
- 10-spike configuration is designed to be closer to the ground
- Creation informed by Shohei Ohtani's biometric data and design insight
- Raised triangular pattern provides structure and flexibility, while providing superior durability, throughout the course of the long season, in high-wear areas
- A TPU wing on the lateral midfoot wraps up from the sole plate to help stabilize the foot
- Plate surface is flat, highly polished and refined to help prevent mud or dirt from caking
- Metallic 'N' logo
